Group 11 - 22 June 2009 -Madinah Al Munawwarah
12 June 2009, Madinah Al Munawwarah, The City of Light. Alhamdulillah, the group/jemaah has settled in at the designated hotel in Madinah and went to perfrom their Friday prayer at Masjid Nabawi.
Temperature is estimated at over 40 degrees celcius as it is the summer season. Therefore the jemaah has been advised to drink plenty of water and keep themselves hydrated. After the Friday prayers the jemaah had their lunch that has already been prepared.
InsyaAllah, the jemaah are schedule to perform the Ziarah Makam Nabi of Visit to the Prophet Muhammad Tomb to pay respect at about 10 in the evening. This is due to the heavy crowd during the day and to allow the women to perform the ziarah at the same time as well.
The jemaah will be lead by the mutawif (guide) for the men and mutawifah for the women.
1st Group Arrived Safely
12 june 2009, Alhamdulillah, the umrah group has arrived safely at the King Abdul Aziz International Airport, Jeddah at about 2.13am (Saudi Time).
The group then proceed for a normal medical screening before proceeding to the immigration counters. After clearing all airport process, the group then proceeded to perform the Subuh prayer before continuing their 6 hour journey to Madinah Al Munawwarah.
The group stop at 2 points for toilet breaks and having light meals. Alhamdulillah, the journey from Jeddah to Madinah went very smoothly and the groups arrived at Taibah Hotel, Madinah at 10.30 am (Saudi Time)
The group was then welcomed by the hotel staff and then proceeded to have their breakfast which has been prepared before getting ready for the Friday Prayer.
1st Group for June package (11-22 June 2009)
12 June 2009, A total of 57 people left the country last night to perform their Umrah duties. Among the group were 2 laison officer from DHSB, Muhd Rasimoon bin Hj Adinin as Head of Operations and Siti Norfadhillah bte Haji Kampong. The group program is from the 11 - 22 June 2009.
Managing Director, Haji Mahmud bin Haji Mohamed and Assistant Managing Director of DHSB Hajah Sufinah binti Haji Sahat, was at the Brunei International Airport bidding farewell to the group and wishing all pilgirms good health and prays for blessing of the safety and journey during the whole trip.

Thanksgiving Prayer for DHSB Umrah Liaison Officers (PPU)
11 Jun 2009, A thanksgiving prayer was held this morning to mark the departure of the first umrah group which is schedule to depart this evening at 8.20pm. It is also held to ask for blessings from Allah Subhanahu Wataala for all the appointed liaison officers and to pray for a smooth operation for the upcoming umrah packages for this month and other upcoming umrah packages.
The event started of with the reading of the holy quran, followed by reading the hadith. Present at the event, Haji Mahmud bin Haji Mohamed, Managing Director of DHSB and Hajah Sufinah binti Haji Sahat, Assistant Managing Directors. Also present were the appointed umrah liaison officers as well other officers and staff of DHSB.

PPU Meeting with MD and AMD
09 June 2009, A meeting was held between all the appointed umrah liaison officers (PPU) with the Managing Director and Assistant Managing Director.
Purpose of the meeting was for the MD and AMD to give a few word of advise and reminders to the PPU on their duties and roles as liaison officers .
Haji Mahmud bin Haji Mohamed, the Managing Director said " Liaison Officers or PPU plays a major role in ensuring quality service is given to the customers of DHSB and thus results in the success of the company".
The Managing Director also took the opportunity to congratulate all the staff and officers that has been appointed. To add on the word of advise, Hajah Sufinah Haji Sahat, the Assistant Managing Director also gave a few word of advise and reminders to the appointed liaison officers.
InsyaAllah, a thanksgiving prayer will be held in the office prior to the departure of the groups.

08 June 2009, As part of DHSB value added service, with the continuous support and assistance from Royal Brunei Airlines, an advance check in is arrange for the June umrah group specifically for group using Royal Brunei Airlines.
