Official Launching 'Wrap N Fly"

24th April 2010:

Darussalam Holdings Sendirian Berhad officially launch its newest product the Baggage Wrapping Services or better known as the 'WRap N Fly' at the Brunei International Airport on the 24th April 2010.

The ceremony is officated by the guest of honour, Yang Mulia Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Yusoff bin Haji Ismail, Chairman of the Borad of Directors, Darussalam Holdings Sendirian Berhad. Attended guests include Board of Directors DHSB, Governemnt Senior Official, Travel Agents and NGOs.

This service is provided in line with the Memorandum of Understanding sign between Darussalam Holdings Sdn Bhd and Department of Civil Aviation. The benefits of the baggage wrapping service is that it protects passengers baggage or items from scratches, spillage, leakage or even the insertion of illegal or prohibited items by unknown individuals.

The service is available 7 days a week from 3am to 10pm. Prices for the service are very affordable starting from B$4.00. For a limited time only B$1 discount is given for every baggage/item wrapped ranging from small, medium and large size item

Wrap N Fly Soft Opening

10th April 2010:

The Management and Staff of Darussalam Holdings held a soft opening and officially started its operations for its latest product, the Baggage Wrapping Services or better known as Wrap N Fly on the 10th of April 2010.

The soft launching was held at the Brunei International Airport. Present were the Managing Director, Assistant Managing Director, Management, Officers and Staff of DHSB. The recital of Surah Yassin and a thanks giving prayer was done to bless the new service.

Futsal Match

07th April 2010:

Darussalam Holdings organize a friendly Futsal match last night at the Bangunan Takaful Sports Hall. It was definetely a night to remember as all the players enjoy their fun friendly game especially the Kumpulan 69 who never stop entertaining the players with laughter.

Among the invited teams were Kem Kesihatan (Emergency Department), RBA (Reservation & ticketing) and our local artists - Kumpulan 69, DJ's, local bands & friends.

Exchanging Documents

Today marks a historic moment for Darussalam Holdings Sdn Bhd as a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the Government of Brunei represented by the Department of Civil Aviation and Darussalam Holdings Sdn Bhd.

Signing on behalf of the Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) is its Director Haji Omarali bin Haji Md Jaafar while signing on behalf of Darussalam Holdings Sdn Bhd is its Managing Director, Haji Mahmud bin Haji Mohamed.

The MOU is for the Baggage Wrapping Services to be provided at the Brunei International Airport by Darussalam Holdings Sdn Bhd, the first of its kind in Brunei Darussalam. It is also aimed to support the government of Brunei through the Department of Civil Aviation in diversifying it products and services provided to the passengers at the Brunei International Airport when traveling in and out of Brunei Darussalam.

The baggage wrapping service ensures protection on passenger’s baggage and personal belonging when traveling. A special film and machine is used to wrap the baggage and protects it from scratches, spillage and illegal insertion. Construction is still ongoing for the office set up of the Baggage Wrapping Service Area, and it is scheduled to operate by Mid of April 2010.
