Darussalam Holdings holds a Seminar for this year intended pilgrimages

Darussalam Holdings Sendirian Berhad (DHSB), Brunei's leading hajj operator, yesterday held a knowledge-sharing seminar for the benefit of this year's batch of intended pilgrimages for the 1432H/2011M hajj season, who have registered with DHSB.

The seminars were entitled “Ceramah Perdana Penghayatan Ibadah Haji” and “Taklimat Pengurusan Haji”. The event was held at the Mahligai Hall, TAIB Building, The Airport Mall in Berakas and was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Education and Chairman of the Board of DHSB, Yang Mulia, Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Yussof bin Haji Ismail

The seminar focused on what can be expected during the month-long hajj experience and the attendees were also given further advice on how to get the most of their holy journey during the pilgrimage, both spiritually and in terms of logistics and other management.

A total of 800 intended pilgrimages will be using DHSB as their hajj operator this year. The tentative date for the first flight to Saudi will be sometime in mid October 2011. Meanwhile, officials including the Managing Director of DHSB, Haji Mahmud bin Haji Mohamed, who shall head the delegation, shall leave for Saudi at the end of this month to ensure that operations are all in place before the arrival of the pilgrims.
