04 June 2009, CONGRATULATIONS to the officers and staff which have been appointed and given the task and responsibilty to accompany and assist in ensuring the welfare and well being of DHSB umrah pilgrims for the month of June.

One More Week!!

04 June 2009, Exactly one week from now the first umrah group for the month of June will depart as scheduled which is on the 11th of June 2009.

Insya Allah, 57 people are scheduled to depart on that date along with 2 liaison officers. The people will be seperated into 2 groups/buses with the first bus carrying 26 people and the second bus carrying 31 people.

We hope and pray that everyone will be in good health and appreciate the prayers of others, praying for blessings and the safety of DHSB umrah jemaah during the whole trip.

The next group to depart is scheduled on the 13th of June 2009 using Malaysia Airlines.

Happy 48th Anniversary RBAF

02 June 2009, Happy 48th Anniversary to the Royal Brunei Armed Forces who celebrated their anniversary on the 31st of May 2009 at the Rimba Airforce Base.

Arrival of DHSB Delegates

02 June 2009, The DHSB delegate comprising of the Chairman of the Board, Member of the Board, Managing Director and Legal Advisor  arrived safely at the Brunei International Airport on the 29th of May 2009 at approximately 6.30 pm. Everyone is in a good healthy condition and they had a fruitful meeting while in Saudi Arabia.

Present to welcome the delegate were officer and staff of DHSB. 

Birthday Celebration

29 May 2009, DHSB officers and staff today were treated to a variety of delicious food, satay, spaghetti, noodles..macam macam adaaaaa.

Umrah Briefing and Religious Talk (Taklimat Pengurusan Umrah dan Ceramah Penghayatan Ibadah Umrah)

25 May 2009, An umrah briefing was held on the 15th of May 2009 at the Dewan Muhibbah Hall, Brunei Muara. The briefing was conducted for the umrah pilgrims of DHSB. Approximately over 400 pilgrims are schedule to perform their umrah in the month of June taking the opportunity during the June school holidays.

Also attending the briefing was DHSB Managing Director, Haji Mahmud bin Haji Mohamed and the Asst. Managing Director, Hajah Sufinah binti Haji Sahat. The briefing was presented by Muhd Rasimoon Haji Adinin, Head of HR & Corporate who has been appointed as the Head of Operations for the June Umrah programme.

Among the purpose of the briefing is to prepare the pilgrims whether those who has perform umrah numerously or going for the first time. The briefing outlines the basic preparation required as well as the programme of the umrah package according to the ones that had been selected by the pilgrims.

DHSB has prepared  packages on 9 different dates with the first package flying off on the 11th of June 2009. Apart from the briefing, a religious talk was also presented by Ustaz Haji Hambali.

DHSB would like to take this opportunity again to thank all the pilgrims for their continuous support and trust in DHSB to arrange their umrah trip. Not to forget all relevant parties who has supported DHSB to ensure a smooth operation especially to the Embassy of the Royal Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Brunei Darussalam and all DHSB officers and staff for their dedication and hardwork.

Working Visit to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

25 May 2009, Last night DHSB Chairman and selected member of the board of directors along with the Managing Director and Assistant Managing Director left Brunei Darussalam for a working visit to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (24th May 2009 8.20pm).

The delegation is headed by Yang Mulia Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Yusoff bin Haji Ismail, Chairman of the Board. The delegation is expected to be in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for approximately 1 week to attend a series of meeting as well as taking the opportunity to perform umrah.

The delegation consist of Yang Mulia Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Yusoff bin Haji Ismail (Chairman), Pg Haji Abd Rahman bin Pg Haji Mat Salleh (BOD Member), Yusof bin Haji Abd Rahman (BOD Member), Haji Mahmud bin Haji Mohamed (Managing Director), Hajah Sufinah binti Haji Sahat (Asst.
