11 Jun 2009, A thanksgiving prayer was held this morning to mark the departure of the first umrah group which is schedule to depart this evening at 8.20pm. It is also held to ask for blessings from Allah Subhanahu Wataala for all the appointed liaison officers and to pray for a smooth operation for the upcoming umrah packages for this month and other upcoming umrah packages.
The event started of with the reading of the holy quran, followed by reading the hadith. Present at the event, Haji Mahmud bin Haji Mohamed, Managing Director of DHSB and Hajah Sufinah binti Haji Sahat, Assistant Managing Directors. Also present were the appointed umrah liaison officers as well other officers and staff of DHSB.
