Majlis Sembahyang Maghrib dan Sunat Hajat Berjemaah sempena Wuquf di Arafah

24th November 2009M , International Convention Centre, Perbadanan TAIB and its subsidary companies, Darussalam Holdings Sdn Bhd & Insurans Islam TAIB held a maghrib & sunat hajat prayers in conjuction with the wukuf in Arafah.

Guest of honour for the event was Minister of Religious Affairs, Yang Berhormat Pehin Jawatan Luar Pekerma Raja Dato Seri Utama Dr Ustaz Haji Awang Md Zain bin Hj Serudin and members of the Board of Directors from Perbandanan TAIB, Darussalam Holdings dan Insurans TAIB.

Visit to Mina

Another visit was made to Mina to identify to location of accommodation allocated for Darussalam Hajj pilgrims.

Officers and staff along with mutawif made necessary preparations such as putting up banners and flags and allocating stickers for the pilgrims easy identification of their designated sleeping spot. A prayer was also held at the end of the evening to get blessings from Allah, may the journey to Arafah which begins tomorrow goes smoothly and May all the pilgrims be blessed and be awarded "Hajj Mabrur"

Briefing on departure to Arafah and Mina

A series of briefing has been held to inform the Darussalam Hajj pilgrims on the preparation before departing to Arafah and Mina. Present to deliver the briefing is Muhd Rasimoon Haji Adinin (Deputy Head of Delegation) as well as Ustaz Haji Sammali Haji Adam (Religious Officer) and Sheikh Adnan.

Among the topics covered are departure times, basic needs preparations such as clothings, toiletries, medication and any related matters. Also highlighted are the set up of accommodation in Arafah and Mina and to always abide by the rules and regulation set by the government of Saudi Arabia as well as guidelines given by Darussalam Holdings management. Ustaz Haji Sammali also reminded pilgrims on the guidlelines and precautions when in Ihram and to always be patient while being in Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj.

Insya Allah, group is scheduled to depart to Arafah on the 25th of November 2009 and Wukuf in Arafah wil fall on Thursday 26th of November 2009.

Visit to Arafah and Mina

Alhamdulillah, DHSB Hajj Head of Delegation along with other officers and staff made a visit to Arafah and Mina to pre inspect the site that has been allocated for Darussalam Hajj pilgrims as well as setting up certain areas where possible.

Praise to Allah as we have been bless till this stage everything has been made easy for us and our operations from Madinah to date has been manage smoothly. May Allah continue to give his blessing us in handling the operations and to all the Hajj pilgrims performing their Hajj this year.

Brunei Hajj Operators Visit to Maktab 103

Today, 5 approved Brunei Hajj operators currently in Saudi Arabia made a visit to Maktab 103 together with Bithah Hajj (Brunei Hajj Officers). The approved Hajj operators are Darussalam Holdings, Humairah Travel, Titian Travel, SCA and HTH.

The purpose of the visit was to officially introduce all the Brunei Hajj operators as well as updating the Maktab on each group's Hajj programmes.

Today, DHSB Hajj delegation led by Haji Mahmud bin Haji Mohamed made a courtesy call to the Head of Maktab Khalid Damanhuri. His office is responsible in the handling of Brunei Hajj pilgrims in Makkah as well as Arafah and Mina.
