Darussalam Holdings Sendirian Berhad (DHSB), Brunei‘s leading hajj operator, yesterday began opening its counters for hajj season payment for this year, 1432H/2011M.

This year DHSB are accepting hajj payments at counters in three districts in order to make it more convenient for all intended pilgrimages living in those districts.

For intended pilgrimages staying in Brunei-Muara and Temburong districts with registration numbers from A1 to A601 and TM1to TM17 and WAA1 to WAA48, they may head to the counters at DHSB Headoffice located at The Airport Mall, Simpang 13-25, Ground and First Floor, Kampung Jaya Setia, Mukim Berakas ‘A’, Bandar Seri Begawan. The counters will be open from the 12th September until 16th September from 9.00am to 2.00pm.

For intended pilgrimages staying in Tutong district with registration numbers from TG1 to TG49, they may head to Tabung Amanah Perbadanan Islam Brunei (TAIB) Tutong branch located at Unit 28, Lot 13096, Bangunan Hj Abd Malik & Anak-anak, Kampung Petani. The counters will be open only on the 12th from 9.00am to 2.00pm.

Meanwhile, for the intended pilgrimages staying residing in Kuala Belait with registration numbers from KB1 to KB137 and WAKB1 to WAKB19, payment can be made at the DHSB newly open Kuala Belait branch located at Unit 22, Block D, Lot 8989, Jalan Pandan 7, Kuala Belait. The counters will be open on the 12th and 13th September 2011 from 9.00am to 2.00pm.

This year, it is estimated that around 800 pilgrimages will be using Darussalam Holdings as their Hajj operator. The tentative date for the first flight will be in the mid of October 2011.

At the same time, DHSB will to inform their intended pilgrimages who will be using DHSB as their hajj operator that they will be holding Ceramah Perdana Penghayatan Ibadah Haji dan Taklimat Pengurusan Haji , at Mahligai Hall, 3rd Floor, The Airport Mall Simpang 13-25, Kampung Jaya Setia, Mukim Berakas ‘A’, Bandar Seri Begawan.
